Creating a new arts district at the southern gateway to campus, the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center together with the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts will bring new experiences in the arts for students, faculty and the Auburn Community.

Akustiks oversaw the acoustical and audio video design and construction aspects of the facility that features a new 1,200-seat multi-use hall supporting a range of programs from orchestral music, theatre, dance to amplified music, spoken word and other special events. Construction was completed in the Summer of 2019. The project was designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.

Opening performances have included artist ranging from Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit, LANY to Michael Feinstein with special guest Storm Large, Robert Cray, and Renée Fleming.
