Creating a new arts district at the southern gateway to campus, the Jay and Susie Gogue Performing Arts Center together with the Julie Collins Smith Museum of Fine Arts will bring new experiences in the arts for students, faculty and the Auburn Community.
Akustiks is overseeing the acoustical and audio video design and construction aspects of the facility that will feature a new 1200-seat multi-use hall supporting a range of programs from orchestral music, theatre, dance to amplified music, spoken word and other special events. Construction is underway and is scheduled to be completed in the Summer of 2019. The project is designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification.
